Translate Brasil is an international conference held in São Paulo, Brasil, brought up by the Portuguese Association of Translators and Interpreters. We were challenged to create a vibrating illustration work for posters, social media covers and badges. For a theme such as “Going Beyond our Borders” a multicultural approach was the way to reach the overall idea, so we dived into “Tropicália” style, known for both music and artwork since the 1960’s and also for its meaning. End result was two illustrations we are very proud of, being the first chosen by the client to stand for the conference
