On this particular workshop called “I have a degree… Now what?” for translators and interpreters degree graduates in Brazil, the illustration concept was to picture a city in a Latin American style, where a hand holding the degree was trying to rise from the concrete jungle. To illustrate this we were inspired by Brazilian 60’s to 70’s style “Tropicália” of which we are fans both for its meaning as well as a cool influence on some of our illustration work at Dotgraf

Thanks to the iPad Pro we could create an immensity of graphic elements. Now these elements weren’t simply placed together expecting to work, we had two grids and two concepts in mind, aiming for a specific end result. One thing for sure, this work process is pure fun as we believe it shows too.
